| Introduction of Europe China Enterprise Park
Europe China Enterprise Park has made some achievements upon the completion of its first phase development. The factories and works within the Park are well operated and their products are sold not only readily in Romania but also in large quantities in other countries of the European Union. In order to increase the development of the Park and internationalization of Chinese enterprises, F&J International Group as the initiator has started, in cooperation with its strategic partners, the second phase of the program that covers an area of over 100 hectares, with the target being to turn the Park into the production base and logistics distribution center for Chinese enterprises to enter the markets of the European Union. The first phase of the program is located in Buzau in the southeast of Romania with an area of about 70 hectares. The Park enjoys very convenient transportation with No. 85 International Highway nearby. It is only 130 kilometers away from Bucharest, Capital of Romania, and 260 kilometers away from Constanta, a well-known international seaport along the Black Sea. In additions, the Park has very good infrastructure and the enterprises have free choices to use the Internet (FTTB+LAN, 10M or telephone dialing system) and telephone as means of communication to conduct their business operations. Compared with the situation in China, the water, electricity and natural gas are quite cheap in the Park. Electricity is charged of 3300 lei (0.097 US dollars) per KWH on the average, water 7742 lei (0.21 US dollars) per cubic meter and natural gas 3900 lei (0.1147 US dollars) per cubic meter. The first enterprises in the Europe China Enterprise Park are operated well. Of the enterprises in the Park, Lemnking Industry that processes wood is the largest Chinese investment in East Europe and the Sinoroma Industry that produces tobacco products and Cooperative Electrical Co. Ltd that produces TV sets have established their reputation in the market. Mr. Long Yongtu, Vice Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation, praised the Park as the successful model of Chinese enterprises ·°Going Global·± when he visited the first phase of the Park in Romania in September 2002. |
